"Assistant yelled at me over the phone. I showed up in person and there was a filthy dog running around that looked like it had matted hair all over and the place was full of dog hair. it was gross. Not the nicest people."

"I must say that I have had State Farm in the past. But I have never had such horrible service as this operation has been to me. I’m not sure why so many five stars maybe their friends. Maybe they choose the people that they help. I had a claim with them, my tire hit the curb but no body damage they sent my car to a conclusion center making the claim $4,900 because of the bodywork. I absolutely needed no body work. Secondly, I called the claim department and ask a question. It was a dip in the road and my radiator hit so it burst. I asked only if they covered that they started a claim and cost me another collision within a year, I have a letter that states that it was not a collision from the claims department but the first collision. was my tire when I only hit a curb in the Walmart parking lot should’ve just been repair work not bodywork. The second one was not a collision but now that is on my record and causing my insurance to be high, I called and canceled and went to another insurance company and also lied to me AllState. Went back to Joe Demos September 27, 2023. I called September 25 and 26th. I guess they saw my name on the caller ID and decided not to answer so I called today as I was walking in still no answer for me ,Val came to the door and was very rude Val and asked me how can I assist you? I stated that’s me calling you I just wanted to see if you guys were avoiding my phone calls which you were because the phone is ringing and you wasn’t busy with anyone because you came straight to the door as I walked in. I was told by the claims department that, the actual physical business was able to remove the collision claim since it was not a collision I paid out of pocket $ $834.85 for radiator and then when I called Joe Demos , he said the claim department had to remove it. However, they have the worse customer service Joe Demos is the worst again I’ve had State Farm in the past not in this state absolutely horrific. The five stars has to be the people they choose to treat fairly. They have caused me more damage to my record than necessary, but to avoid answering the phone, for someone is very unprofessional, and when I came in, I was told that the underwriters cancel my policy. That was not true. I called and canceled my policy and went to AllState, which also lied to me. Val stated that’s what’s in the system. I stated once that is not how my policy canceled I cancel base on the unprofessionalism. of this company upon my first incident I had caught Covid and I had to continuously call to make sure that everybody was doing their job. They cost me out-of-pocket $600 out of my pocket on a rental. It took them so long to get everything together that I had to pay a $500 deductible plus $600 after my rental amount had exceeded. I have pictures that on my first incident that I did not need bodywork or a new bumper with my tire hit the curb, they created a fiasco, for me. I have never had a collision with another car only the curb, and I definitely didn’t have a second incident was my radiator some & wear and tear which I paid out of my pocket and this is how I have been treated so instead of answering the phone they chose to ignore me. and then today when I ask Val to print out the letter that I had sent to Joe, she said she couldn’t find it. There was no longer in there and I said sure you can so I sit there and then she actually looked, and she did not want to help me. This is a horrible way to treat someone to cause them to have two collisions on your driving record when there was only one. Not involving another vehicle only a curb if I could give zero stars , I would just be aware of who and what you’re dealing with. I have never experienced anything close to this .. Concerning insurance. One would like to think that they can be trusted. This is while we have insurance unbelievable but this is true."

"Karon, I can only stress the importance of talking to your agent before you file claims. I am sorry your experience wasn't great. We strive to do the very best we can, being human, that's not always possible. We face challenges in our business, but we try not to let them interfere with our desired level of service. We don't ignore customers, present or past. When claims are filed, we have to follow procedures from the point they are filed and cannot just make them go away. Contrary to what you may have been told, I have no authority as an agent to make claims "go away". Again, I do regret your experience with my office was less than ideal. i wish we'd had more opportunity to make a difference on the front end."

"2 separate roofers and the home inspector told my parents their roof needed to be replaced due to hail damage. The State Farm adjuster denied the claim. This is typical of State Farm and why I would never use them."

"We pay for damage covered under the policy. some roofers are more versed in damage vs wear and tear than others. our claims personnel are specifically trained to recognize both. we may not always get it right, we are just human after all, but we do our best to spend our policyholder dollars on claims accurately. "

"I would like to thank your State Farm Insurance company personnel at the Joe Demos State Farm Office for their excellent support. Insurance Account Representative, Val McClure, took care of all my question on property insurance. She also provided timely, detailed, and helpful advice regarding the insurance product I was purchasing. She let me know all the important information regarding the product coverage and cost. Ms. McClure was extremely attentive and she listened to all my concerns with a great deal of patience. She also ensured that I received all the information on insurance coverage by each line item in the policy."
